Job Description

We are currently searching for an experienced E-Commerce & Sales Data Analyst to support our Analytics Team and provide data management, reporting and analysis. Reporting to the Analytics Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for helping Lakeshore meet its objectives in order to drive the growth and profitability of our business. The selected candidate will also work closely with various management teams to provide insights and analysis that support both B2B and B2C areas of the business as well as our 60 Lakeshore Learning Stores nationwide. Successful candidates will have previous experience with extracting, interpreting, analyzing and presenting data, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a high focus on accuracy and data integrity. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with outstanding problem-solving and communication skills, and an ability to take initiative and multitask in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment—and will possess the skills to quickly adapt to evolving priorities. This position is based at our corporate office located in Carson, CA.

A day in the office looks like this:
•    Provide detailed and accurate reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually) to all related stakeholders
•    Create, complete and manage ad hoc reporting requests in a timely manner while working to streamline current processes
•    Review data sets and reports for accuracy, validity and data integrity
•    Extract, manipulate, analyze and present sales data for the Retail, E-Commerce, Sales and other divisions as needed
•    Identify sales opportunities through data analysis
•    Communicate effectively across all levels of management throughout the retail field and various departments within the company
•    Display a positive attitude and can-do outlook in all circumstances
•    Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects and deadlines
•    Work flexible hours as needed
•    Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
•    2 or more years of experience in data, analytics and reporting
•    Experience with web analytics and business intelligence tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Target, QlikView) 
•    Experience with data collection and implementation preferred (understanding of digital analytics concepts related to website behavior and ability to collaborate with developers)
•    Experience with A/B test planning, execution and analysis a plus
•    Strong business acumen and experience making decisions or providing recommendations
•    BA/BS in computer science, math, economics, business or related field a plus
•    Technical capacity and the ability to learn new systems
•    Advanced knowledge of Excel
•    Superb analytical, problem-solving and multitasking skills; highly receptive to feedback with a teamwork mentality
•    Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset with exceptional follow-through
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
