Job Description

We are currently looking for a Payroll Implementation Consultant preferably based in Gauteng with a hybrid work opportunity. The Payroll Implementation Consultant is responsible for the timely, accurate, and within-budget implementation of the application to compliment LabourNet consulting and client business requirements. This position will have cross-functional involvement within the application and will include base, value-added & payroll implementations.

The Labournet Implementation division will be responsible for the client onboarding process for the software platform and continuous expansion of product usage.

You are responsible for
Inclusive of, but not limited to:

Client Retention:

  • Provide exceptional customer service during the implementation process.
  • Maintain a high client retention rate by delivering quality service and excellent communication skills, following LPD Processes.
  • Collaborate across divisions to drive innovation.
  • Offer direct support to team members as needed.
  • Develop competency through formal and informal learning sessions and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams.

Development: Competence:

  • Foster innovation through collaboration across divisions.
  • Provide support to team members as required.
  • Develop and maintain competence through ongoing learning sessions, ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer among teams.
  • Stay updated on new functionality, legislation, and upgrades to provide clients with the best advice.

Product: Quality Audit & Implementation:

  • Lead the full implementation process for new clients, with a focus on financial data and rules.
  • Conduct client project initiation meetings and define implementation plans.
  • Gather information, perform data analysis, configure systems, and execute proof of concepts.
  • Manage data migrations, including master files, leave records, financial data, and value-added applications.
  • Ensure client sign-off documents are processed as per internal procedures, facilitate client handovers, and manage data processing in line with existing client life cycles.

Ad-Hoc Projects:

  • Contribute to various ad-hoc projects aimed at improving configuration, implementation, or innovation.
  • Align with the implementation team on projects related to "configuration," "implementation," or "innovation" as they arise.
  • Ensure proper and timely handovers to the dedicated support team.
  • Adhere to defined implementation processes as per product requirements and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Research and resolve client/system problems, offering timely solutions, and documenting special requests for tracking purposes.

Qualifications

You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in business or HR-related field or equivalent experience (1-2 Years) is required
  • Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products required.
  • Positive and motivating interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with hybrid working environment.


Experience Required:

  • 1 - 2 Years Exposure to Labournet Payroll technology and/or similar HCM technologies will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of statutory employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility will be advantageous.
  • 1 - 2 Years Experience in implementing Payroll and HRIS systems would be advantageous.
