Job Description

We are looking for a Labour Law Team Leader who will be responsible for securing, developing and maintaining client relationships. Become a strategic partner to the Labour Law base by raising the level of contact and staying visible within the base. Consulting with a high degree of industry expertise and knowledge across the Labour Law base (where required). Development and retention of team. Management and leading of the Labour Law Consulting team. Ensuring the product is delivered according to spec and clients are retained at 95%. Strategic link between the consultants and the Product Manager to collaborate on product design, etc. Management of capacity and Cost of Sales in the team (Area Focus, etc.).

You will be responsible for:

Staffing:

  • No less than 75% of staff retained.
  • Retention and personal development plans drawn up for all employees in team, taking into consideration employee career aspirations together with their current length of service, to mitigate the relevant risk whilst also discussing their career path on a quarterly basis.
  • Job Descriptions signed off by all members of team within their first week of employment
  • Balance Scorecards for whole team are completed by Clos of Business on the 7th working day of each month
  • All staff members within the team comply with the relevant Career Path criteria.
  • All salary related admin is done as per set dates and submitted to Product Manager
  • Schedule and attend all meetings with allocated reports
  • Spot check the quality of recommendations

Client management:

  • 95% retention of Labour Law base in team
  • Regular check-ins with clients
  • Contacting and providing feedback to clients based on the Client Survey.
  • Ensuring cancelling clients are contacted and every attempt is made to save them.
  • Billing target achieved on monthly basis
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key client needs and requirements
  • Continuously proposing solutions to clients that meet their objectives
  • Assist with Labour Law Technology Module uptake

Reporting:

  • Reporting on the team to the Product Manager, etc.

Growth:

  • Collaborate with Business Development Manager / Business Development Consultant as a Product Expert
  • Identify opportunities in existing client base and liaise with Business Development Manager / Business Development Consultant 
  • Provide strategic feedback to Business Development Manager / Business Development Consultant 

Package & Remuneration:

Salary: R35 139 CTC per month

Qualifications

You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role:

Experience required:

  • Minimum of 5 years, post article/qualification experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Senior or Management role with experience leading a team.

Qualification:

  • B-Degree in IR/Law/HR/Industrial psychology or related field
  • Completed all Career Path elements
