Labforward develops software solutions for scientists with the aim of connecting the laboratory environment.  We are looking for a Finance Intern (m/w/d) to join our finance and business administration team in an exciting time for company fundraising. 
 
This position is aimed at students looking to complete a mandatory internship as part of their studies. We are looking for individuals who are undertaking degrees in finance, business administration, economics or related fields. 
 
In this role:

• You will assist in budgeting and forecasting the company’s finances while we are preparing for a new funding round
• You will create estimates and invoices for our customers and process incoming invoices in our accounting software (DATEV)
• You will update the monthly report to our investors, gathering data from different departments
• You will apply to business plan competitions and investor/startup event opportunities
• You will have a chance to analyze our accounting and customers data to give senior management insight into our business and help to improve internal processes

What we’re looking for:

• A positive and diligent student available for at least 5 months on a full-time basis (40h/week) starting from June 2020
• Outstanding analytic, organization and communication skills
• A  passion to learn the day-to-day of finance and business development in a startup environment
• A true team-player who is able to collaborate well with others
• A very good English speaker, German is a plus
