Job Description
The role supports the financial performance and strategic decision-making for Parfums Christian Dior in the North America market. This role supports the core financial planning, analysis, and performance management, ensuring accurate reporting and insights to support sustainable growth. The role offers hands-on exposure to P&L management, forecasting, and senior-level business partnership during a defined coverage period.
This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on business needs.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Performance Management
- Support financial reporting of the U.S. and Canada markets, with responsibility for detailed financial analysis and performance monitoring
- Contribute actively to the annual budget, latest estimates, and long-range financial planning processes
- Support the preparation and communication of financial results, forecasts, and variance analyses to internal stakeholders in a clear and decision-oriented manner
- Proactively support the identification of business risks and opportunities, providing financial insights to support corrective actions and growth initiatives
- Support month-end closing activities with strong understanding of P&L and balance sheet drivers
Decision Support & Business Partnership
- Conduct financial analysis and recommendations to support commercial, operational, and strategic decisions
- Monitor key financial KPIs and spending, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability targets
- Produce recurring and ad hoc financial analyses, including omnichannel profitability views by customer, category, door, or commercial line
- Support ROI analysis on key investments and initiatives, ensuring disciplined capital and resource allocation
Governance, Audit & Internal Controls
- Partner with Finance leadership, Accounting, and Internal Control teams to ensure compliance with financial processes and policies
- Support internal and external audit processes related to FP&A and financial reporting
- Proactively identify financial or operational risks and escalate appropriately
Collaboration & Team Contribution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A tools, reporting, and processes through automation, digitalization, and best practice methodologies
- Contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented, high performance finance culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred (including degree in progress)
- 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in retail, luxury, beauty, or CPG environments preferred
- Working knowledge of accounting principles; audit or internal control exposure is a plus
- Experience with integrated ERP and BI systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, Power BI, Cognos)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and financial modeling skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and business partner-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations
- Growth mindset, collaborative, strong sense of ownership, proactive, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
