Job Description

The Global Consumer Insights and Analytics team plays a critical role in influencing strategic priorities by translating consumer complexities into actionable insights. This essential intelligence is used to shape product, experience, and brand strategies, ultimately putting the consumer at the heart of everything we do at fresh.

Your Impact to the role:

  • Champion consumer centricity at fresh by ensuring relevant insights are disseminated in an easily understood and accessible way across the business
  • Lead research and insights studies to influence and support fresh’s strategic priorities
  • Develop, execute and analyze output from primary research projects that center around the consumer, including but not limited to:
    • Segmentation (attitudinal and behavioral)
    • Brand Equity Studies
    • Category Understanding Exploratories
    • Communication Testing
    • Social Listening
    • CX
    • UX
    • Management of Proprietary Consumer Panels
    • Strategic Initiative Studies around topics such as consumer omnichannel behaviors, AI, sustainability, etc.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of advertising, marketing and communications strategies
  • Play a critical role in audience/consumer target development
  • Manage insight creation in concert with other team members and across many data sources (both internal and external)
  • Synthesize disparate data into impactful, data backed recommendations that are executive ready and impactfully communicate an objective, evidence-based perspective through crisp storytelling

Your impact in your first year:

  • Own primary research projects from start to finish (design, execute, analyze and develop insights to drive business impact)
  • Maintain custom consumer panel
  • Become a trusted source of consumer-based knowledge for cross-functional partners

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

You have:

  • 8+ Years of Experience Required in Consumer Insights
  • Bachelor's degree – in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Finance or Psychology (Master's degree preferred)

You can:

  • Lead the design and execution of primary research across methodologies and fundamentals (expertise in qual/quant methodologies from design to execution, storytelling to senior level executives.
  • Solve for business objectives using a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods including but not limited to: consumer segmentation, surveys, focus groups, ethnographies, digital communities, IDIs, social listening, VoC, UX Testing
  • Proactively drive exploration and development of innovative and disruptive consumer research methodologies aimed at creating next-generation consumer insights approaches.
  • Leverage significant experience working with syndicated sales data such as NPD to execute complex analyses across and design best-in-class reporting to drive actionability.
  • Demonstrate expertise and drive proactive change within customer analytics.
  • Utilize internal, syndicated and proprietary sources to analyze and translate data into clear, impactful, and actionable insights and business recommendations.
    • Identify consumer-focused insights and implications that lead to increased acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Tell compelling, clear and concise stories with data.
  • Uncover and communicate impactful ‘so whats’ for the business to action.
  • Represent the voice of the consumer and inject consumer insights across all aspects of the business.

You are:

  • An Expert in Excel, NPD, and Power BI
    • Experience with SPSS, SQL, SAS and/or Tableau is a plus
  • Proven Project Management Skills
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Proactively make recommendations on process improvement and new ways of working

The salary range for the role is $135,000 - $150,000 USD.
