Key activities will include market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to inform our strategic & operational decisions across the business.
Job Description
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The position will report to the Business Analytics & Strategic Projects Director.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional pricing strategy & execution
Support the development, execution & maintenance of pricing strategies across local and travel retail markets spanning Asia Pacific in collaboration with Guerlain HQ and commercial teams.
Conduct regular analysis & reporting of pricing competitiveness across key markets to assess impact of currency fluctuations and promotional campaigns.
Analytics & business intelligence
Deliver actionable insights on key macro-economic, market & competition trends impacting our performance across APAC.
Consolidate business and retail performance KPIs for regular reporting to HQ and regional management stakeholders.
Employ key business insights & analysis to prepare forecasting for operational management & annual budget planning requirements.
Strategic planning and project management
Support preparation for top management meetings, including annual budget meetings, business reviews, market visits, COMEX presentations, etc.
And any other topics as assigned.
Qualifications
Interest in luxury retail
4 – 6 years of experience in pricing, analytics, business planning or equivalent
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel and Powerpoint) and Power BI
Strong numerical and statistical analytical skills
Research and synthesis skills (ability to simplify complex data and translate them into insights & actions)
Ability to work in a cross-functional & multi-cultural team environment
Clear, concise verbal & written communication skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience
