Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Supply and Demand Planning Intern at LVMH Fragrance and Cosmetic, you will have the unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in one of the largest and most prestigious cosmetic companies in the world. Your primary role will be to support our supply and demand planners in their daily activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Depending on your capacity to learn and adapt, there may also be opportunities for you to take on ad hoc projects, allowing you to showcase your skills and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly Orders to Markets: Assist in generating and managing weekly orders to our markets, ensuring alignment with market demands, stock levels, and product availability.
- Weekly Allocations: Support the allocation process by helping to allocate products to different regions and stores, maintaining a balanced distribution of inventory.
- Master Data Processing: Accurately input and maintain product data, including pricing, SKU information, and inventory levels, to ensure accurate planning and execution.
- Data Crunching: Utilize data analysis tools and software to process and analyze large sets of data, identifying trends and patterns that can inform supply and demand decisions.
- Forecasting Assistance: Collaborate with demand planners to enhance demand forecasts through market research and historical data analysis, contributing to more accurate predictions.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in optimizing inventory to meet customer demands while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
- Communication and Coordination: Foster effective communication and collaboration between different departments, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline supply and demand planning operations, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Depending on your progress and capacity to learn, you may have the opportunity to lead or participate in special projects related to supply and demand planning, which can be both challenging and rewarding.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Able to commit a 6 months internship from Jul 25 to Dec 25
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Anaplan and SAP is a plus
