Immediate opening for a RPG Programmer to work in the Bangalore area. All applicants must have over 4years’ experience.

Responsibilities:

· Hands On RPG RPG ILE Developer On As400 JDEDWARDS WORLDSOFT is a plus good to have experience in setup and customizing packaged programs.

· functional knowledge of the following applications: is a plus Sales Order, Financials, Inventory, Distribution.

· Technical proficiency in relevant languages and development tools required. Knowledge of RPG, RPG-ILE, RPG Free, CL, SQL, AS/400 environments, DDM, DB2 Database,

· Knowledge on Change Management tool like Aldon, Turnover or similar.

· Ability to write program specification and coding from program specifications is required. Some positions may require knowledge of JDE ERP..

Requirements:

· The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented, customer-focused team member able to function at a senior level by managing multiple project assignments and meeting delivery due dates.

· Demonstrated proficiency with CL, ILE and free-format RPG.

· Must have an ability to prioritize effectively, handle shifting priorities professionally, and exhibit a high level of project ownership.

· The ability to communicate clearly with I.S. team members and internal customers is essential.

· Attention to detail and ability to investigate problems are critical to support project plans and schedules.

A two or four year degree in Computer Science (CS), Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent (such as training and coursework in core technologies) desired

Experience with RPG III, RPG IV/ILE, RPG Free techniques (embedded SQL, modules, service programs and sub procedures)

Familiarity with IBM Websphere MQ, Agile/Scrum development methodology, Object Oriented (OO) concepts and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) desired
