Pay Range
$107,550 - $133,524 Annually
Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. Many factors are taken into consideration when setting starting pay including education, experience, the external labor market, and internal equity.

Job Description

We're looking for a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Data Analyst. You will create, collect, and analyze information to influence management decisions to extend asset lifecycles, increase safety, and improve tracking and reliability related to preventative/corrective maintenance, light construction, and evaluation of building and utility management performance data. This position is in the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Directorate and may require you to work at Site 300 located in Tracy, California.

This position offers a hybrid schedule, blending in-person and virtual presence. You will have the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week.

You will

  • Define, analyze, recommend, implement, lead activities, and continuously improve business processes, strategies, and data and statistical models required to support I&O business units.
  • Align information technology solutions with business initiatives, processes, rules, and requirements using industry standard practices and working across multiple disciplines.
  • Develop and implement strategies for addressing process improvements initiatives that impact major areas of I&O and involve significant integration among functional areas.
  • Support operational changes to improve information and processing systems; serves as the primary contact for management for critical change initiatives.
  • Establish practices and procedures for implementation and support of business process improvements or re-engineering efforts.
  • Create and provide statistical data to support the Institution’s metrics, key performance indicators, and I&O management reports.
  • Communicate vision effectively to senior management; prepare and present business process strategies and plans to all levels of personnel.
  • Perform analysis tasks requiring an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end process without appreciable direction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant functional discipline, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Serve as a specialist with significant experience with a CMMS and associated processes and an understanding of other related business disciplines.
  • Experience designing and implementing improvements for functional business discipline in the areas of process improvement, workflow, and streamlining to reduce duplication.
  • Experience developing plans for data gathering and analysis. Experience developing integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing multiple, integrated projects and leading business transformation activities using project management methodologies, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Experience implementing business solutions and knowledge of project management practices.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present and communicate concepts and ideas to all levels of personnel.
  • Experience working effectively with limited supervision in an environment with changing deadlines, instructions, priorities, and frequent interruptions.

Site 300 is an experimental test site operated by LLNL.  Situated on 7,000 acres in rural foothills approximately six miles southwest of downtown Tracy and 15 miles southeast of Livermore, Site 300 hosts approximately 200 employees with expertise in such fields as engineering, chemistry, biology, and environmental restoration. Employees assigned to work at Site 300 may be exposed to the organism that causes San Joaquin Valley Fever (coccidioidomycosis).

Security Clearance

This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance.  If you are selected, we will initiate a Federal background investigation to determine if you meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Also, all L or Q cleared employees are subject to random drug testing.  Q-level clearance requires U.S. citizenship.
