What will your days be like at LGI Healthcare Solutions?
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our architecture team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture design and systems integration in the healthcare sector and be committed to ensuring solution performance and compliance.
How will your contributions be showcased?
- Guide the creation and evolution of solution architecture in close collaboration with development teams, while ensuring compliance with architectural guidelines and organizational standards;
- Play a key role in the entire design and delivery cycle, from ideation to project planning, code development, testing, deployment and securing of the solution;
- Act as a reference person for the development team, providing mentoring and coaching on architecture practices as well as technical issues and challenges;
- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure alignment of solutions with quality standards and industry best practices;
- Help development teams optimize solution performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing architectural adjustments where necessary;
- Write complete and accurate solution documentation to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability;
- Communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and build consensus around them;
- In conjunction with the Product Manager and Product Director, ensure that non-functional aspects are taken into account during design and prioritization.
Qualifications
What you will bring to LGI Healthcare Solutions to succeed in the role:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience;
- Excellent leadership, influencing, and negotiating skills;
- Team spirit, dynamism, and ability to innovate;
- Excellent knowledge of security principles;
- Proficiency in a variety of technologies;
- Knowledge of the clinical-administrative business domain (an important asset);
- Experience in optimizing the performance of high-volume solutions;
- Knowledge of healthcare integration standards (IHE, HL7v2, HL7v3, FHIR);
- Experience with the following technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Java, .Net, RESTful services, Oracle;
- Knowledge of technologies and best practices related to continuous integration and deployment automation (e.g. Git, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, Snyk, Ansible, Powershell);
- Good knowledge of security practices and standards;
- Experience in deployment and operation of distributed systems;
- Experience in high-availability deployment;
- This position must be bilingual as the candidate will be responsible for working with documentation in both French and English and communicating, orally and in writing, with both French-speaking and English-speaking partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues.
