What will your days be like at LGI Healthcare Solutions? 

You will work closely with the development teams (internal and external) and product teams. You will also be responsible for the proper functioning of the Med-Urge product, keeping customers at the center of focus and using the best possible practices in a complex context. You will ensure good integration between the various components of the system architecture.

How will your contributions be showcased?

Feature development:

• Assist in designing/programming high risk items.
• Diagnose and resolve the most complex technical problems.
• Understand and play a major role in the design and delivery cycle, from ideation to project design, including UX, code, testing, deployment, security and component integration.
• Ensure the solution will be easy to support by encouraging good design and code refactoring to minimize technical debt and facilitate deployment.
• Collaborate with the architecture team to guarantee the technical sustainability of the product.
• Produce clear and effective technical documentation.

L3 Support:

• Investigate problems reported by customers.
• Train the L1 and L2 support teams on the new technical features of each version.

Planning, and content preparation:

• Support the technical manager in planning new releases.
• Carry out complex technical analyses while always aiming for the best solution for clients.
• Analyze and validate the Product Manager's requirements to determine the feasibility of projects.
• Evaluate and provide high-level estimates.

What you will bring to LGI Healthcare Solutions to succeed in the role:

• University degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of programming experience.
• Experience working on complex software solutions.
• Experience collaborating with external consultants.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (Visual Foxpro, C#, .net Core, Angular).
• Good knowledge of working with MS SQL databases.
• Follows Best Practices (unit testing, code review, algorithms, etc.).
• Good knowledge of DevOps practices (build and deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps, Bitbucket etc.).
• Knowledge of HL7 standards (an asset).

• This position must be bilingual as the candidate will be responsible for working with documentation in both French and English and communicating, orally and in writing, with both French-speaking and English-speaking partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues.
