Company Description
The Charleston LGC Group site manufactures Reference Materials (RM’s) and Certified Reference Materials (CRM’s) to support the environmental, food safety, forensic, public health, petrochemical and industrial hygiene industries. The site also manufactures environmental sampling products.
Job Description
The Production Technician makes sampling kits and pre-measured/weighed vials, preservatives and laboratory testing supplies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate independence, competence and knowledge of the packaging of at least one major product line as directed by the supervisor based on business needs
- Assist in maintaining finished product inventory as directed by the Supervisor and/or Team Lead
- Produce and fill orders according to due dates on production list as directed by the Supervisor and/or Team Lead
- Perform and follow standard operating procedures
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated ability to calibrate balances, air displacement pipettes, repipettes and bottletop dispensers
- Demonstrate consistent, reliable performance
- Ability to replicate specific packaging of products while maintaining a high level of product quality
- Meet production goals in a timely fashion
- Exemplify the LGC core values on a day-to-day basis
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma required
