Job Description
- Facility & Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Schedule, conduct, and maintain records of Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Calibrations on key pieces of equipment located around the facility. Including coordinating with outside vendors, sourcing replacement parts, identifying critical spare parts, and maintaining an inventory of spare parts.
- Coordinate with department managers & supervisors on equipment acquisition and installation
- Ensure equipment availability to support production and logistics activities to efficiently advance products through production to shipment.
- Recognize safety and compliance issues and alert staff and management of any non-conformances
- Support Safety Committee activities (i.e. fire safety equipment checks, etc.)
- Act as a fully proficient user of the CMMS (e.g. Faciliworks) across modules, including work order management, asset management, maintenance, and calibration activities, etc.
Knowledge, Experience, and Technical Skills
- HVAC / Electrical experience is highly desired
- Hands-on experience validating and completing validation protocols for equipment
- Experienced with the repair, Calibration, PM, and installation of existing and new equipment/systems
- Previous exposure and confirmed understanding of automation equipment and exposure to ISO8 Cleanrooms
- Familiarity with CMMS; entering and completing work orders, PMs, calibrations, etc.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as vital.
- Knowledge of RODI water systems a plus.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Trade school or equivalent experience, High school diploma or equivalent experience, or general education degree (GED) with a proven track record in a manufacturing environment
- Or a related degree in Biomedical Engineering or technical college with an additional 2 years of professional experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $35 hourly
Maximum: $39 hourly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the Maryland-based position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, skills, and location.
