Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional and an expert in supply chain management?
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Buyer Planner to join our team in Ballina, Tipperary. Ireland.
This role offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days onsite per week, allowing you to collaborate closely with key teams while maintaining flexibility.
As a Manufacturing Buyer Planner, you will be at the heart of our supply chain, managing the procurement of materials and production planning. Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and new product development, to ensure we have the right materials at the right time to meet production needs. You will be responsible for forecasting material requirements, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best pricing, and using ERP systems (including SAP) to manage inventory and purchasing processes. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that production schedules run smoothly and inventory levels are carefully monitored.
With your expertise in SAP and master data management, you will maintain and update our Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring that all material specifications and requirements are accurate. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements that will help optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
In this role, strong communication skills are essential. You’ll be interacting with a variety of stakeholders, from internal teams to external suppliers, and your ability to work calmly under pressure will be crucial to success. The role is dynamic and requires someone who is high-energy, with a team-focused mindset and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field or studing towards a degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related field
- Proficiency in supply chain management principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and demand forecasting techniques
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
