Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our dynamic team!. As a key player in our cybersecurity strategy and operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our identity and access management systems, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Active Directory (AD), and Azure Active Directory (AAD).

This is a hybrid Role based out of one of our LGC sites with the view to be on site once a week. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions to ensure secure and efficient access to resources.
  • Develop and maintain PAM solutions to protect privileged accounts and credentials.
  • Implement ITDR strategies to detect and respond to identity-related threats.
  • Oversee IGA technologies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage and secure AD and AAD environments, including governance of provisioning, de-provisioning, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with other security and IT systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Involved in level 3 response to security incidents, coordinating with an outsourced SOC capability to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Involved in the engineering and configuration of technologies supporting the SOC, such as SIEM, information feeds, and rules.
  • Oversight of the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls such as endpoint protection, patching, email security, and network security controls.
  • Ensuring adherence with cybersecurity certifications such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in IAM and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IAM, PAM, ITDR, IGA, AD/AAD (tools/technologies) and security incident response.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications are a plus. These include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
