Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing project management capability / coordination activity in support of New Product Development (NPD) projects. 

**** This role is located in Alexandria, MN.  We do not offer relocation so please do live close enough to be able to commute.   

  • Possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, time management practices, and change management techniques.
  • Coordinate project teams and facilitate communication and interaction among the functional representatives.
  • Document, manage and drive progress against agreed-upon timelines, including development of project plans, Gantt charts and critical path analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate project reports.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
  • Work collaboratively with D&G department resources to ensure a fully joined-up approach to project deliveries.
  • Demonstrated ability in project planning and delivery of objectives
  • Capable of working independently in project planning, creation and reporting.
  • Ability to interpret requirements and expectations and to make key linkages to ensure plans are joined up
  • Identify and implement activities to ensure continuous improvement in project delivery across the wider NPD project portfolio, establishing best practice and advising other team members
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment, working up, down, and across the organization in order to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate quickly across complex project-plans and to make well-reasoned decisions.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree required Bachelors degree preferred. 
  • 2 -3 years experience in project management related to new product development in accordance with design control requirements of Quality ISO 13485 is preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
