Job Description

  • Determine quality standards and specifications for suppliers
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement quality improvements and ensure compliance with LGC's standards
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and performance metrics
  • Provide guidance and support to suppliers to address any quality issues or non-conformances
  • Support and participate in external Audits (HPRA, Notified Body Audit, Customer Audits)
  • Provide support to Non-Conformance, CAPA, Change Controls and Documentation Control activities as required.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems
  • Continuously monitor and analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Assist in the development and implementation of supplier qualification and approval processes
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and practices in supplier quality management within the industry.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate suppliers' quality management systems (2-3 supplier audits annually)

Qualifications

  • To achieve success, possessing experience in a Supplier/Quality position within a manufacturing setting, along with a track record of effectively implementing quality enhancement initiatives with suppliers, will bolster your efforts. Additionally, a robust understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies is essential.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Manufacturing, Engineering, or Quality Assurance
