Responsibilities:

• Determine and ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and requirements
• Develop and implement trade compliance policies, procedures, and training programs
• Conduct regular audits to monitor and evaluate compliance efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support on trade compliance matters
• Manage customs and import/export processes and documentation
• Stay informed about changes in trade laws and regulations and share any updates with relevant individuals or groups.
• Resolve any trade compliance issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in trade compliance or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and laws
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Proficient in using trade compliance software and tools
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Desiried Qualifications:

• IFS MRP knowledge
• Lean Techniques and Tools
• Broader Supply Chain knowledge and warehouse experience
• Certification in customs compliance or trade regulations
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as customs brokerage systems, trade compliance software

Competencies & Behaviours:

• Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on import and export compliance requirements, including proper documentation procedures, restricted party screening, and compliance best practices.
• Foster a culture of compliance awareness within the organization through training sessions and communication of regulatory updates.
