🚀 Join Our Team as an International Field Engineer! 🌍

We're seeking an International Field Engineer to join our Field Service Support team to deliver support our customer base across EMEA. This role will be predominantly focused on our clients located in the west of Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium. 

At LGC Group, we believe in delivering excellent service and support to our customers. As an International Field Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, providing high-quality technical assistance and managing service-related issues reported by our customers.

The role involves 75% travelling with around 3 weeks of the month on the road and 1 week from your home base. We are looking for someone based in Germany (Preferably around  Düsseldorf /Cologne area, ideally within 1 hour distance from international airport).

As our International Field Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.

Here's what you'll be doing:

🛠️ Proactively Support Customers: Provide technical assistance and support across the globe, ensuring our clients have the solutions they need when they need them.

🔧 Ownership Mentality: Take charge of customer service-related issues, seeing them through to resolution with dedication and expertise.

🔬 Hands-On Analysis: Operate equipment in lab environments for both demonstration and troubleshooting purposes, analyzing malfunctions with precision.

🔩 Maintenance Mastery: Conduct preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs as required, utilizing your keen eye for detail and technical know-how.

📚 Technical Literacy: Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to effectively repair equipment, utilizing your background in electronics/mechanical engineering.

📝 Administrative Excellence: Ensure all associated administration and service records are accurately completed for each assignment, maintaining meticulous records of your work.

🤝 Customer Satisfaction Champion: Collaborate closely with service management to guarantee customer satisfaction, promptly escalating any issues and ensuring our clients receive the support they deserve.

Qualifications

Your skills and experience: 

🔌 Technical Background: Solid foundation in Electronics/Mechanical engineering, with a keen understanding of technical principles.

🔧 Field Service Experience: Previous experience in a field service role is a must, with expertise in all aspects of customer service including commissioning, repairs, and maintenance.

💬 Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with conversational-level German being highly advantageous.

📅 Organizational Skills: Organized and priority-focused, with the ability to adapt seamlessly to varying workloads and timelines.

Time Management: Capable of self-managing and coordinating your time effectively to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

🔍 Problem-Solving Prowess: Possess a methodical approach to problem-solving, with a knack for dissecting complex issues and finding innovative solutions.
