Manages import and export declarations, organizes the shipping documentation and procures and maintains customs master data in the LEONI customs system or ERP system

- Identifies and proposes optimization and standardization of existing processes
- Manages import and export declarations in the name of country organization
- Procures customs data (e.g. LTD) from suppliers and maintains data in local data system accordingly (e.g. ERP or customs system)
- Checks, releases and archives import declarations
- Applies for refund or supplementary payment of import duties
- Issues Intrastat declarations for country organization (only for EU plants)
- Calculates preferential origin
- Maintains and applies for customs authorizations, export licenses or special customs procedures (if applicable)
- Supports other country departments in customs related topics
- Represents the company in the interactions with local or regional Customs Office
