In the Benelux region, LACROIX already has a strong footprint in smart water. The ambition is now to accelerate smart grids and smart lighting growth, driven by energy transition programs and upcoming European cybersecurity regulations.

Job Description

You develop LACROIX’s smart grids and smart lighting business in Belgium and the Netherlands, positioning the company early in projects, influencing specifications and securing long‑term opportunities.

Missions :

  • Build and manage relationships with utilities, integrators and partners,
  • Influence prescription and technical specifications upstream,
  • Initiate pilots, tests and proof‑of‑concepts with customers,
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities,
  • Act as a bridge between customers, marketing and product teams.

Role Specificities :

  • Location: Belgium or the Netherlands,
  • Strong focus on smart grids; smart lighting as a complementary market,
  • Projects strongly influenced by EU regulations (including cybersecurity),
  • Combination of hunting and long sales cycles.

Team / Interactions :

  • Reporting to the International Sales Manager,
  • Daily collaboration with smart lighting, smart water and presales teams,
  • Regular coordination with product management and logistics.

Qualifications

The profile we are looking for :

Must-have :

  • Experience in smart grids or public energy infrastructure sales,
  • Ability to navigate complex, regulated environments,
  • Strong influencing and relationship‑building skills,
  • Fluent Dutch (or Flemish), French and English.

Nice-to-have :

  • Technical or engineering background
  • Experience with utilities or public tenders
