We're Hiring | Logistics Manager — KRONOSPAN Morocco

📍 Location: Logintek SETTAT | Department: Logistics & Dispatch |

Purpose of the Role

Lead, organize and control the entire material and goods flow. from production output to final customer delivery while optimizing costs, timelines, and operational performance across transport, warehouse, customs, and carrier relations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport Organization & Optimization 

  • Manage and audit all planned transports with full accountability for economic efficiency across all transportation modes
  • Integrate individual customer orders into the daily order volume and build optimal transport solutions (route planning, cargo space utilization, load calculation)
  • Leverage Transporeon and internal TMS tools to plan, track and optimize every shipment
  • Coordinate and strategically select transport companies — decide who handles what and when
  • Monitor all active orders in close collaboration with production planning; trigger short-term capacity adjustments and corrective actions when needed
  • Align delivery requirements with customer expectations proactively

2. Warehouse Logistics & Storage Management 

  • Plan, execute and control all intralogistics operations: goods location, storage system design, storage organization and associated technology
  • Implement warehouse safety standards to prevent risk during storage and loading
  • Monitor storage areas against defined targets and develop recovery actions when deviations occur
  • Oversee the warehouse management system across all defined zones

3. Reporting & Performance Monitoring 

  • Prepare recurring performance reports on transport reliability, delivery KPIs and logistics costs
  • Provide data-driven insights to management to support continuous improvement of the supply chain

4. Shift Coordination & Loading Supervision 

  • Coordinate shift supervisors and loading teams to ensure time-optimized loading across all storage areas of the site
  • Verify that all loading instructions and safety protocols are respected in line with internal guidelines and legal requirements

5. Freight Negotiations 

  • Benchmark all freight services: identify, compare and evaluate carriers and service providers
  • Negotiate framework agreements, allocations and spot-market contracts to meet budget targets
  • Manage both short-term and medium-term freight agreements with strategic suppliers

6. Customer Interface & Freight Calculations 

  • Brief the sales department on the characteristics and applicability of available transport solutions
  • Promote efficient use of multimodal transport to save time and costs
  • Build detailed freight calculations for different transport scenarios to support commercial decisions

7. Customs & Compliance 

  • Own all customs formalities end to end
  • Coordinate with external customs departments and agencies to ensure full regulatory compliance on import and export flows

8. Invoice Control & Approval 

  • Review and validate all shipping bills and carrier invoices
  • Ensure proper approval workflow before forwarding to relevant departments

Qualifications

Education & Training
University degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management. Training in Forwarding & Logistics and specialized knowledge in export documentation, customs, truck traffic, intralogistics, container and rail logistics...

Experience
5 to 7 years of professional experience in logistics, transport management or supply chain, in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.

Languages
English B2 at least (working language for group reporting and international coordination)

Spanish is a plus 

IT & Tools
Excel · VBA · EDV / ERP systems · Transporeon or equivalent TMS platform

Leadership & Soft Skills
Strong leadership with experience managing shift supervisors and operational teams · Negotiation skills with carriers and service providers · Resilience and decisiveness under time pressure · Clear communicator across all levels · Spatial and technical understanding of logistics flows
