Job Description
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team in Chirk, Wrexham, United Kingdom. As the first point of contact for our organisation, you will provide a warm welcome to visitors, clients, and staff whilst managing a range of administrative duties. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent people skills, maintain a professional demeanour, and ensure our reception area operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls using multi-line phone systems, taking messages accurately and promptly
- Contractor control and administration, organising of inductions
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the reception diary, ensuring efficient time keeping
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using office software systems
- Provide administrative support to various departments as required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
- Process visitor sign-in procedures and manage access control in accordance with organisational policies
- Assist with general office administration tasks, including filing, photocopying, and document preparation
- Liaise with staff members to ensure smooth communication and coordination
- Support the induction process for new employees
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and email systems
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Professional telephone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems
- Competent data entry and typing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, empathetic, and customer-focused approach
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- No experience required, training will be provided to the successful candidate
