Job Description

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team in Chirk, Wrexham, United Kingdom. As the first point of contact for our organisation, you will provide a warm welcome to visitors, clients, and staff whilst managing a range of administrative duties. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent people skills, maintain a professional demeanour, and ensure our reception area operates smoothly and efficiently.

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls using multi-line phone systems, taking messages accurately and promptly
  • Contractor control and administration, organising of inductions
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the reception diary, ensuring efficient time keeping
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using office software systems
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
  • Process visitor sign-in procedures and manage access control in accordance with organisational policies
  • Assist with general office administration tasks, including filing, photocopying, and document preparation
  • Liaise with staff members to ensure smooth communication and coordination
  • Support the induction process for new employees

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and email systems
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
  • Professional telephone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems
  • Competent data entry and typing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly, empathetic, and customer-focused approach

  • No experience required, training will be provided to the successful candidate
