Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to kickstart their careers in software testing and quality assurance. The intern will work closely with QA engineers and developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing across web and API-based applications.
• Create and execute test cases based on functional requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand new features and edge cases.
• Assist in maintaining test documentation and reporting test results.
• Apply testing methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC.
• Basic knowledge of manual testing and web/API testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• Good hands-on experience with SQL queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
