Team Administrator

  • Office Location: Sydney
  • Department: Office Support

Company Description

For more than 20 years, KordaMentha has supported businesses through some of their most complex matters and opportunities. Founder owned and led; we are an advisory firm that helps corporations, financiers, lawyers, private investors and government clients to grow, protect and recover value.

That’s what we do, but it’s how we do this that makes us who we are.

Proudly independent, strategically local, and with a bias for action to get things done, we focus on doing what is right by our clients, our people, and the wider community. Our track record shows that we help navigate the best path forward in challenging times, and do so across cities, regions and territories.

In the most stressful or demanding environments, we continue to drive change where it really counts.

Job Description

Are you a proactive, organised and service-focused administrator who enjoys being at the centre of a busy, professional office environment?

We’re looking for a Team Administrator to join our Sydney office and play an important role in supporting our people, clients and day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with our Office Support team, Executive Assistants and broader business to help ensure the office runs smoothly, professionally and efficiently.

In this role, you’ll provide broad administrative and office support across a range of areas, including:

  • Supporting staff with day-to-day administration requests and enquiries.
  • Assisting with document preparation, formatting, printing, scanning, binding and electronic filing.
  • Helping coordinate meetings, client presentations, events and office functions, including set-up, registration and pack-down.
  • Supporting travel bookings, expense reporting, supplier liaison, printer maintenance requests, petty cash and general office coordination.
  • Helping prepare new starter workstations, welcome materials, stationery and corporate merchandise packs.
  • Providing reception coverage and front-of-house support, including preparing meeting rooms and managing incoming calls.
  • Maintaining meeting rooms, kitchen areas, print rooms, stationery, supplies and shared office spaces to a high standard.

This is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in professional services, develop your administrative capability and work alongside experienced business support professionals in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in an administration, office support or related role.
  • A proactive, organised and reliable approach.
  • Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, service-focused manner.
  • The ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to take ownership, use initiative and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • A flexible and hands-on mindset, with a genuine willingness to support wherever needed.
