Job Description

When working with our restructuring team, you’ll get to work in creative project teams to manage some of the largest and most complex corporate restructures, receiverships, administrations and liquidations in the Asia Pacific and can expect to  

  • work onsite to assist the team with the day to day running of distressed business 

  • manage creditor enquires and process receipts and payments     

  • help to meet statutory obligations for formal appointments  

  • attend meetings with clients and key stakeholders to help understand key points of distress. 
     

When working on forensic engagements, you’ll make the complex simple. Typically, this involves reviewing and analysing evidence, both factual and financial-our findings may even be used in Court. You can expect to work on a wide variety of complex projects, including forensic accounting, data analytics, and investigations. Some of the work might include the following: 

  • review and analyse financial information to really understand the data, and to perhaps determine if any anomalies exist 

  • draft reports of key findings for clients, often for used as an independent expert in court. 

  • build simple financial models 

  • scrutinise information using professional scepticism  

  • attend interviews of witnesses/suspects with senior staff and take notes. 

Our graduates also play an active part in growing our practice undertaking business development, networking and marketing activities as well as undertaking research on potential clients.

Qualifications

You will be a recent graduate or student in your final year of study and will have: 

  • Completed an Accounting, Commerce, Commerce/Law degree or Business degree 

  • Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred 

  • The ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as critical thinking 

  • Be highly competent in using MS Excel and other MS Office applications 

  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • An interest to contribute to and participate in marketing initiatives and business development activities 

  • Be motivated and prepared to deliver the highest standards of client service 

  • Be a Singapore citizen or Permanent resident (not require a work visa or employment pass)
