Job Description
We are looking for an Associate who has a passion for helping clients manage their risk, compliance, financial crime or regulatory challenges through data, advanced analytics and AI approaches and technologies. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that brings deep expertise in data sourcing, engineering, analytics methods and tools to the broader risk and transactions agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise top-tier clients to help solve complex business problems across diverse industries through use of data, cloud, analytics and AI technologies.
- Play an integral role in delivering a portfolio of large and complex projects whilst also supporting and driving sales initiatives within the business
- Apply technical skills and knowledge to design and deliver work streams, successfully managing project risks along the way
- Analyse and integrate complex data sets and provide evidence-based actionable insights that align with business objectives. Design and implement complex data models, including those leveraging AI and Generative AI techniques, to identify, manage and prevent risk issues.
- Collaborate with different service lines to identify business needs and devise data solutions, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Continue to drive ongoing growth in the business through development of key client and service offering responsibilities, and build our presence in the market
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in data risk, usage and AI, including AI regulations, governance and safety in the market
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in data analytics, model build and feature engineering in response to risk, compliance, financial crime or regulatory issues
- Proficient in data querying and manipulation using cloud-based SQL and NoSQL database technologies, and experience in visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Hands-on experience in utilising modern MLOps/DevOps approaches to manage and deploy models at scale on Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP. Ability to prototype and bring models into production
- Robust understanding of statistical methods and data modelling techniques, with expertise in data science libraries and frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch and strong command of programming languages such as Python or R
- Excellent communication, business writing and presentation skills, including designing and facilitating workshops
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise mature judgment
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated capability of deliver multiple projects / work streams simultaneously, including gathering data requirements, analysing data, documenting processes, assessing risks and controls, designing solutions and creating executive presentations
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, artificial Intelligence, actuarial studies, mathematics or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated consulting experience in a Tier 1 or boutique consulting firm is preferred
