Job Description

Konecranes Procurement Controlling team is responsible for enabling professional measuring and reporting in terms of the Procurement Function and Konecranes’ spend. It also helps to develop processes and practices that maintain and enhance the financial control environment. The Procurement is responsible for approx. 2 billion euros spend globally.

We are looking for a Procurement Analyst, a proactive and self-motivated team player who will contribute to team and function deliverables as well as to support stakeholders’ cross businesses reaching their objectives.

This role will be perfect fit for you if you have strong dedication for proactive analytics enabling effective control and prediction mechanisms for accelerating efficiency and advancing Procurements role in driving for better.

The location for this position is flexible within Europe, with a strong preference for locations with a Konecranes presence. The role is hybrid remote and involves about 15% business travel.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control Procurements cost center and ensure that actual expenditures are in-line with latest forecast and annual plan
  • Contribute in Procurements annual planning and budgeting process and drive communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Drive and deploy on further Konecranes Supply Chain Financing Program (SCF) along with businesses improving groups’ cash-flow
  • Support the management in decision-making through high-quality reporting and analysis
  • Contribute to reach agreed actionable deliverables from strategic planning processes on team as well as function level
  • Work closely with BU Procurement organizations and other stakeholders with spend and savings-related matters
  • Ensure close interaction and active communication with stakeholders to understand needs and ensure alignment for supporting overall business objectives
  • Develop further standards, guidelines, and policies for own responsibility area
  • Participate in global projects driven by function or other stakeholders
  • Develop together with the team Procurements global spend reporting tool Sievo as well as establish interactive learning courses in LMS
  • Provide training and support for Procurement stakeholders for processes and essential tools such as Sievo, SCF, KPIs etc.
  • Administer Procurements savings program management tool SPM and execute sanity checks to ensure savings pipeline is up-to-date
  • Monthly reporting purposes of various metrics and KPIs

What You Should Bring:

  • Professional degree in Business/Procurement/Accounting
  • Work experience of 5 years in Business or Finance Controlling in a global multicultural environment
  • A business-orientated mindset and a drive to understand dependencies and implications of relevant figures
  • Understanding of financial statements such as balance sheet, profit and loss account and cash flow statement
  • Proactive attitude to spot and fix gaps to unlock opportunities for the whole group increasing efficiency

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Outstanding service mindset and capable to collaborate with stakeholders effectively
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent communication skills in English language
  • Technical competences such as Power BI / SAP
  • Willingness to travel globally
