Job Description
The Opportunity
We're looking for an energetic, versatile Communications Specialist to help tell our story while supporting a wide variety of marketing initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, take ownership, and grow alongside a collaborative marketing team.
You'll own day-to-day public relations efforts while serving as a key contributor across marketing. No two days will look the same—you might be pitching media, drafting executive communications, coordinating a campaign launch, updating website content, or partnering with our SEO lead to create compelling content.
If you're someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is always willing to jump in wherever needed, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day public relations activities, including media outreach, press releases, award submissions, and relationship building.
- Develop content that supports company announcements, thought leadership, customer stories, blogs, and executive communications.
- Partner closely with the SEO lead to develop and optimize content that drives visibility and engagement.
- Support marketing campaigns with messaging, content creation, and project coordination.
- Assist with website updates, social media content, presentations, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications.
- Coordinate projects across internal teams and external partners to keep marketing initiatives moving forward.
- Be the team's go-to person for the many marketing projects that don't fit neatly into one discipline.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- 2–3 years of experience in public relations, communications, content marketing, or a related
- marketing role.
- Experience working for a technology company or at an agency supporting technology clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever help is needed.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where priorities can change
- quickly.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- You're naturally curious and eager to learn.
- You're comfortable wearing multiple hats and enjoy variety in your work.
- You take initiative instead of waiting to be asked.
- You bring positive energy to your team and enjoy collaborating with others.
- You're excited by the opportunity to grow your career and take on increasing responsibility over
- time.
