Job Description

The Supervisor, Preservation is responsible for assigning workflows, preparing schedules, and clearly communicating daily objectives to all team members. This role manages departmental staff, ensuring responsibilities are well-defined and operations run efficiently. The Supervisor is expected to drive performance and productivity by overseeing day-to-day operations, analyzing data and production reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Additionally, they ensure all production functions meet quality standards and operate cost-effectively. The role consists of approximately 75% hands-on floor supervision and 25% administrative responsibilities. 

 

Key Responsibilities   

  • Enforce company policy while maintaining/improving employee morale 

  • Strategize with Operations leader for daily/weekly/monthly forecasted operational execution 

  • Submit reports on performance and progress 

  • Hands on work alongside team members driving efficiency and quality workmanship 

  • Train team members on all applicable Work Instructions 

  • Work with Kofile management and staff to meet our customers’ needs and delivery schedules 

  • Implement operational policies and procedures 

  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale 

  • Provide production/quality feedback 

  • Monitor and provide feedback for employee attendance 

  • Perform payroll related duties to ensure accurate payroll processing 

  • Monitor workflow so orders are progressing as scheduled 

  • Identify process improvement techniques and help their implementation 

  • Build partnerships with operational peers to ensure open communication and seamless collaboration 

  • Foster an environment of employee communication with the management team 

  • Staff development/training 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in related work areas 

  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook  

  • Problem solving skills 

  • Good communication skills with varying levels within a company 

  • Leadership ability, and a highly organized approach to leadership
