Document Preservation Processor Specialist
Book and Document Preservation Specialist
Hours:
- Monday - Friday
- 3:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

We partner with government agencies nationwide to help them meet their citizens’ needs by preserving the integrity and content of paper documents to ensure they will be available for use forever and modernizing information management through digitization and access systems.

Document Preservation Processor responsibilities:
- Dis-binds and identifies volumes, properly annotating the arrival order and condition
- Applies deacidification solution to neutralize the acidity in documents
- Various applications of preserving books and documents
- Various applications of preserving maps and plot plans in addition to logging maps on a computer, generating labels and cross indexes, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
