Job Description

The Job to Be Done

Deliver top customer experience and impact company performance through managing the business unit P/L.  Ensure that all functions within the imaging operations are running effectively and aligned with business objectives. Manage systems and processes through R&D and continuous improvement to ensure the organizational health of the business and customer success. 

Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Provide vision of a future state, focus and direction for innovation of imaging practices with the Dallas operation. 
  • Responsible for managing P/L for assigned operating unit
  • Partner with senior leadership to plan and execute business operating plan.
  • Partner with Sales & GTM on defining requirements to meet customer delivery
  • Other duties as assigned

Operations Excellence and Technology Enablement

  • Lead initiative to expand technology utilization to automate production and Quality Control/Assurance processes
  • Partner with the business transformation function to create technology roadmap for the digitization business
  • Possess and utilize a deep understanding of available tools and systems to advance processes and automation
  • Optimize, develop, and oversee digitization throughout the department; develop and ensure adherence to departmental standard operating procedures
  • Facilitate problem solving to Identify root cause and establish corrective actions. 
  • Design workflows to maximize throughput for optimal margin performance and deliver on KPI objectives.
  • Develop new competencies among staff and expand institutional knowledge of current and emerging best practices, tools, strategies, and standards.

Qualifications

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain, or related
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Director, or in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of operations management and organizational methods 
  • Previous experience managing P/L
  • Experience working in a technology enabled production environment
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload, and respond to changing business demands
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in the areas of Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence and Project Management, Lean principles, statistics, and data analysis
