Job Description

The Intake Lead - Production is responsible for overseeing the execution of each project intake, ERP: NetSuite assessments, product ordering, in addition to supporting day-to-day lab operations. Works alongside team members contributing to workflow in order to meet production goals.

The Intake Lead plays an intricate role for the overall success of the production team; beginning with receiving our client’s historical documents; leading to a highly detailed internal review and data input of each item into individual Microsoft Excel & SharePoint trackers; followed lastly by assembling Kofile’s ERP: NetSuite assessment for each project; all in order for the production team to begin processing the project. Additionally, the Intake Lead helps to resolve problems or bottlenecks in production processes by supporting the Production Supervisor as needed. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service. Responsible for managing and owning instrumental functions of the business while creating an engaged and collaborative work force to.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

●        Handles manually inputting important project details directly into an electronic format, creating spreadsheets with copious amounts of information and numbers of figures

●        Will be able to learn all aspects of the Preservation process and join team in production in order to meet goals

●        Demonstrates the ability to use newly constructed data spreadsheets to order products from vendor Enduro Products

●        Strategizes with Production Supervisor for daily/weekly/monthly forecasted operational execution

●        Supports lab workflow as detailed by the Production Supervisor

●        Develops cross-functional relationships with other departments, as well as with customers

●        Maintain a culture of Safety including leading by example

●        Complies with data integrity and client security policies

●        Implement operational policies and procedures

●        Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

●        Provide daily production/quality feedback

●        Submits project intakes and ERP: NetSuite assessments in a timely manner

●        Identifies process improvement opportunities and partner with Production Supervisor for implementation

●        Builds partnerships with operational peers to ensure open communication and seamless collaboration

●        Unites with Kofile management and staff to meet our customer’s needs and delivery schedules.

●        Works alongside team members driving efficiency and quality workmanship

●        Completes project intakes and ERP: NetSuite assessments in full and accurately

●        Ensures that established work standards are being followed and work quantity and quality standards are being consistently met.

●        Maintains quality while enforcing organization standards

●        Communicates any production delays or problems immediately to the staff or to Kofile management.

Qualifications

Education:  High School diploma or GED

 

●        Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with Data Entry in a production environment, or in a similar role

●        Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word

●        Must be able to sit or stand extended periods of time

●        Able to lift minimum 25 lbs. repetitively

●        Minimum 50 wpm typing ability

●        Excellent communication skills with ability to self-lead / self-motivate

●        A solid understanding of operations management and organizational methods 

●        Problem solving skills

●        Detailed-oriented with great organizational attributes

●        Leadership ability, in addition to a highly organized approach to leadership
