Job Description

Kofile has an exciting opportunity for a senior level accountant to manage the company’s revenue accounting and reporting. This is a new role at Kofile, and the right candidate is someone who enjoys managing details, improving systems and processes, and analyzing information to surface actionable insights for the business. The position reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve company’s key revenue schedules, including customer waterfalls, deferred revenue, and unbilled receivables
  • Maintain and improve company’s contracts database
  • Create and prepare monthly revenue dashboards
  • Oversee adoption of ACS-606 revenue recognition
  • Evaluate technology solutions and recommend opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements
  • Manage timely revenue related month end close activities
  • Serve as key contact for external auditors on revenue matters
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration efforts
  • Special projects on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles, including familiarity with ASC 606
  • Strong Excel skills or aptitude (data model experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented individual
  • Strong and demonstrated interest in data visualizations, data management, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA a plus
  • 3+ years of work experience in accounting
  • Big Four audit experience preferred
