Job Description

 

  • Identify and pursue new business prospects, contributing to the expansion of operations in Uzbekistan and CIS markets,
  • Assess and determine customer needs and potential business partnerships,
  • Monitor market dynamics and competitive activities to uncover new opportunities,
  • Address customer challenges by offering comprehensive logistics solutions,
  • Build and nurture solid relationships with local authorities, organizations, and industry associations,
  • Engage in sales and marketing initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and promote the company's port services,
  • Conduct proactive outreach, including calls and client meetings, to establish and grow the customer base,
  • Meet established sales targets and strategic business objectives to drive company growth,
  • Oversee and coordinate freight forwarding, rail and land transportation, and customs procedures between clients and service providers,
  • Work closely with the MIP commercial and business development teams in Türkiye to align strategies,
  • Cooperate with PSA International’s internal teams that specialize in the CIS region,
  • Maintain open communication with key stakeholders at MIP to negotiate pricing and develop business proposals,
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-evolving work environment.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly desirable,
  • Proficiency in Uzbek at a native or advanced level is a must,
  • Strong command of the English language,
  • At least 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the Shipping, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding sector,
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and implement effective sales and marketing strategies,
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the capability to evaluate market trends and business opportunities,
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while adapting to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of long-lasting business relationships,
  • Ability to represent the company positively and professionally to clients and the public,
  • Confident presentation skills with the ability to deliver impactful business pitches,
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
