Job Description

This role supports the Power Services and Engineering teams by designing, analyzing, and optimizing electrical power systems for industrial and energy projects. You’ll be responsible for developing reliable, efficient power system solutions that directly impact project performance, safety, and client satisfaction. Success in this role means delivering technically sound designs, supporting projects from concept through commissioning, and continuously improving system performance—all while upholding KE’s commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance. What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Design and develop electrical power systems that meet project requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes
  • Perform power system studies and simulations to analyze performance, identify issues, and implement optimizations
  • Support or lead power system projects through all phases, from concept and design to implementation and commissioning
  • Prepare technical documentation including specifications, calculations, reports, and design drawings
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support testing and commissioning activities, providing both on-site field support (with travel) and remote technical assistance

Qualifications

You’re someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in electrical power systems design and analysis
  • Proficiency with power system analysis software such as SKM, EasyPower, ETAP, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a project-driven environment

Pay Range

Pay Range: $30-60 per hour plus per diem and discretionary incentive opportunities
