Job Description
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is the go-to expert making sure vendors are paid on time, processes are on point, and our AP engine runs like a dream.
In this key role, you’ll lead a team of Accounts Payable Specialists, coordinate with departments across the company, and work closely with vendors and subcontractors. You’ll ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, maintain compliance documentation, and help us optimize processes that support the financial heartbeat of our organization.

Qualifications
What You'll Do:
You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Team Leadership and Oversight
- Supervise and support Accounts Payable Specialist(s), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoice entry and payment processing
- Accounts Payable Management
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment runs.
- Reconcile AP ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and within terms.
- Compliance and Documentation
- Track, collect, and maintain lien waivers for subcontractor and vendor payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policy, contractual requirements, and relevant state and federal regulations.
- Process Improvement and Technology
- Identify and deploy automation tools or accounting software features to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with IT and accounting teams to test and implement technology upgrades or enhancements
- Liaise with project managers, procurement, and field staff to resolve invoice and payment issues.
What You Bring:
You are someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounts payable.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (Viewpoint Spectrum and CorPay)
- Strong knowledge of lien waivers, W-9s, COIs, and subcontractor compliance requirements.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, which reflects a good-faith estimate based on market data and internal equity.
