Knawat is a drop shipping platform that makes it easy for e-commerce entrepreneurs to sell products and have them shipped directly to their customers.

We are looking for a dynamic Front-End-Developer to work closely with other Web Developers and IT professionals, who can combine technology and design to create inviting, easy-to-use websites for consumers. 

Front-End-Developer will be responsible for developing the overall look and design of a website, write website code with programming languages such as (HTML/CSS/ JavaScript)

Our ideal candidate should have advanced technical skills and strong interpersonal skills to be effective on the job. Our Front End Developer must have an excellent ability to; 

• Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience. 

• Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones. 

• Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors. 

• Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise

Responsibilities 

• Proficiency in website programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, TypeScript.

• Good knowledge of version control systems e.g. Git.

• Ability to write clean and semantical front-end code.

• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.

• Experience in responsive web design.

• Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets.

• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• Producing, maintaining and modifying websites and user interfaces.

• Incorporating applications, graphics, audio and video clips into the website.

• Understanding of key website design principles and SEO optimization.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers, and web designers.

• Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements.

• Build high-quality mockups and design different prototypes.

• Optimize our web applications for page performance & maximum speed.

• Always stay  consistent with our brand guidelines.

• Make suggestions for better solutions to problems.

• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

• Front End Developers must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. 

• Minimum of three years experience as a Front-end Developer.

• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques.

• Must demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and React.js.

• Understanding of server-side CSS.

• Experience in MongoDB & MeteorJS is a plus.

• Thorough understanding of web design and SEO optimization.

• Should be open to developing and learning new technologies.

• Observant and able to remain focused on tasks for long periods of time.

• Always be up to date on new website tools and programming languages.

• Being a bilingual person is a must, and communicating in English is required
