Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Lead Klick's media strategy and planning capabilities, defining the investment philosophy, channel frameworks, and audience architecture that drive client business outcomes
  • Build and develop a high-performing media strategy team, cultivating analytical depth, strategic thinking, and cross-channel expertise at senior levels
  • Own C-suite client relationships for media strategy, serving as a trusted advisor on investment strategy, audience planning, and omni-channel integration
  • Drive media measurement and planning innovation by championing advanced analytics, data partnerships, and attribution approaches that demonstrate media ROI
  • Transform Klick's media planning discipline by defining future-state capabilities, technology investments, and operational models that scale planning quality across the portfolio

Qualifications

Required:

  • 14–18 years of media strategy and planning experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences advertising, with a track record of building and leading high-performance media teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in integrated media strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels, including digital, broadcast, print, and emerging media, with deep knowledge of pharma audience targeting and compliance requirements
  • Proven track record of managing senior client relationships, presenting media strategy and performance recommendations at the C-suite level, and growing media accounts through strategic counsel
  • Strong client relationship skills across a broad portfolio, with the ability to read the room and adapt your approach to the account
  • Experience building media capabilities, establishing planning methodologies, and developing team talent to create a differentiated media practice within an agency context
  • Strong analytical acumen with expertise in media measurement, attribution modeling, and marketing mix optimization, with the ability to translate data into strategic business insight

Desired:

  • Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, or industry recognition
  • Experience leading through organizational transformation and change management
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience with emerging technologies and their application to marketing and communications
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done
