Job Description

What You'll Do 

  • Conduct research on target companies, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to identify viable leads.  
  • Maintain and update prospecting databases, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness across tools and systems.
  • Partner with internal teams to support preparation for outreach, meetings, and pitches—compiling backgrounders and summarizing client activity.
  • Monitor inbound leads and outbound activities, triaging requests and ensuring timely handoff to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with marketing, communications, and client service teams to ensure prospecting materials are current, relevant, and aligned with Klick's positioning. 

Qualifications

Required

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales operations, market research, or a client services role, ideally within healthcare marketing, pharma, or life sciences
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with ability to source, synthesize, and present competitive intelligence and prospect insights
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office or Google Suite; experience with business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing client-facing materials and briefing senior growth leaders

Desired

  • Interest in business development, sales, or growth strategy within a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem including Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, or custom Lightning development
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical agency capabilities, market positioning, and client decision-making processes
  • Interest in responsible AI governance, emerging foundation models, and their practical applications in healthcare
  • Comfort working across multiple teams and stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
  •  Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done

    Additional Information

    This posting is for an existing role at Klick. 

    The base salary for this position will be CAD 62,000 to 75,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation based on team, company, and/or individual performance. The base salary will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior experience.
