Job Description
The Business Consultant partners with life sciences clients to design and implement business transformation initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, commercial operations, and customer engagement. Working alongside cross-functional teams, this role supports strategy development, process optimization, change management, and operational execution across the product commercialization journey. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
What You'll Do
- Support the development and execution of business transformation strategies that improve organizational capabilities, commercial processes, and client business outcomes.
- Analyze, document, and optimize business processes by developing workflow documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define business challenges, gather requirements, evaluate opportunities, and recommend strategic solutions.
- Prepare client-ready presentations, executive summaries, and supporting documentation that communicate insights, recommendations, project progress, and measurable outcomes.
- Facilitate client workshops and project meetings by documenting decisions, tracking action items, coordinating follow-up activities, and supporting successful project execution.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in consulting, agency, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other digitally focused business environments delivering client-facing projects.
- Experience documenting business processes, workflows, SOPs, or operating models with examples of process improvement or transformation initiatives.
- Experience gathering business requirements, synthesizing findings, and presenting recommendations to clients or cross-functional stakeholders through presentations, workshops, or written deliverables.
- Experience managing multiple priorities while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects within established timelines.
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Experience supporting organizational change management, business transformation, or commercial excellence initiatives.
- Experience with process mapping and documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences consulting environments.
- Experience supporting technology, data, or omnichannel transformation programs that improve customer engagement and operational performance.
Additional Information
This posting is for an existing vacancy at Klick. The base salary range for this position is between CAD $92,000 - $120,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
