Job Description
The Internal Communication & Engagement Specialist is responsible for advancing employee connection, internal brand alignment, and provider integration/retention experiences across Kittitas Valley Healthcare. This role serves as a visible, relationship-based presence throughout clinical and non-clinical departments, ensuring that Community Relations initiatives are effectively communicated internally and that staff experience KVH as a cohesive, mission-driven organization.
This position acts as the primary Community Relations liaison to internal teams by attending department, clinic, and all-staff meetings as needed; supporting consistent application of KVH brand standards in physical and digital spaces; and coordinating integration logistics for new providers.
Qualifications
What is required...
- Minimum five years’ previous marketing/community relations experience; with direct experience with public presentation & speaking and the development & design of marketing materials.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field
- Washington State Driver’s License, automobile liability insurance, access to reliable car for transportation
- Previous & recent experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or video editing for visual storytelling
What is preferred...
- Experience working with the media in preparing statements to the media and responding to questions from the media.
Additional Information
Wage: Wage range currently starts at $36.33/hour and goes up to $55.06/hour
KVH utilizes a step-scale system for each hourly position. Actual wage/step will be based on years' of applicable experience.
