Job Description

The PACS Administrator’s role is to perform all related activities for supporting the hospital’s Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS).  This includes preparing images for digital archiving and assuring the quality control of medical diagnostic images and files.  The PACS Administrator is also responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and upgrading (with the assistance of the KVH IS Personnel) all PACS associated hardware and software, while ensuring its optimal performance.

Qualifications

What is required....

  • ARRT registration as Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible with successful completion of certification within 6 mos of hire. 
  • Current Washington State DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification
  • At least 2 years work experience as a Radiologic Technologist

Additional Information

Wage:  Wage range currently starts at $32.96/hour and goes up to $49.97/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position may also qualify for an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits.
