Job Description

The Clinical Informatics Educator is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the informatics education and training program for new hires, ongoing support, and software up-grades of clinical EHR documentation systems across the organization.  Participates in and/or lead clinical committees and improvement projects as directed by the Manager - Clinical Informatics and/or the Chief Information Officer.  

Qualifications

What is required...

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrolled in BSN program
  • Five years recent experience with electronic clinical documentation systems or Five years recent experience in an acute care setting.
  • Experience with presenting to or teaching groups and/or individuals

What is preferred...

  • Experience with utilizing Lean methodology in daily workflow

Additional Information

Wage:  Wage range starts at $39.42/hour and goes up to $72.29/hour Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.

FTE:  1.0 = 40 hours/week
