Job Description

The Trauma Program Coordinator (TPC), in conjunction with the Trauma Program Medical Director, is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and quality improvement activities of the trauma service at KVH.   This position reports to the Director – Emergency Services but is also responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualifications

What is required...

  • Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State Of Washington (or MLC recognized by the State of Washington)
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certificate (maintenance required)
  • Current ACLS (maintenance required)
  • Current PALS (maintenance required)
  • Current TNCC Provider (maintenance required)
  • Three years’ experience in the acute care of trauma patients
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Completion of college-level course in statistics or obtained within first year of hire

What is preferred...

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing, business, or related field
  • Trauma Outcomes and Performance Improvement Course (TOPIC) completion
  • ENPC Provider certificate
  • TCRN certification

Additional Information

Wage:  Wage range currently starts at $37.54 /hour and goes up to $68.85/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.   

FTE:  .3 = 12 hours/week
