Job Description

The Director provides 24-hour direction for the nursing care and related operational/personnel activities for the Emergency Services department and the Urgent Care – Cle Elum clinic.  Ensures the effective operation of the nursing department.  This position is also responsible for performing duties consistent with the policies, procedures, mission, vision, guiding principles and manager accountabilities of KVH.

Qualifications

What is required...

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
  • Current ACLS card (maintenance required)
  • Current TNCC card (maintenance required)
  • Current CPR card (maintenance required)
  • Seven years of clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 2 of those years in a charge or leadership position

What is preferred...

  • BSN degree
  • Master’s degree in healthcare, business or nursing field
  • Exposure to or knowledge of Lean principles in a healthcare setting

Additional Information

Wage:   Wage range currently starts at $105,830year and goes up to $167,565/year. Actual wage will be calculated based on years' of applicable experience.

FTE:  1.0 = 40 hours/week; Exempt
