Under general supervision is responsible for performing advanced tasks related to the payroll for Kittitas Valley Healthcare and Kittitas County Hospital District 2 such as maintaining accuracy of the Time and Attendance Software, Federal and Multi-state tax filings, and maintaining up to date knowledge of the payroll policies and Collective Bargaining Agreements.  Processes payroll, files tax forms, provides monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and prepares check requests for payroll related liabilities. Will be expected to work closely with Director and entire accounting/finance staff.

What is required...

• Previous payroll cycle experience
• Advanced knowledge of wage and hour regulations

What is preferred...

• Coursework in Business or Finance
• Four year degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of computer Time and Attendance systems

Wage:    Wage range starts at $24.24/ hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. 

FTE:   1.0 = 40 hours/week

Union Status:  This is a non-union position.
