Job Description
The Clinical Informatics Educator is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the informatics education and training program for new hires, software updates and new functionality. Provides ongoing support of the EHR, break/fix, ticket generation with the vendor, change management and testing. Performs upgrade testing and ensures up-to-date educational information is provided to the Clinical Informatics Educators. Participates in and/or lead clinical committees and improvement projects as directed by the Clinical Informatics Manager.
Qualifications
What is required...
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrolled in BSN program
- Five years recent experience with electronic clinical documentation systems or Five years recent experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience with presenting to or teaching groups and/or individuals
What is preferred...
- Experience with utilizing Lean methodology in daily workflow
Additional Information
Wage: Wage range starts at $31.31/hour up to a maximum of $57.43/hour. Actual hourly rate will be based on years' of applicable experience.
FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week
Union Status: This is a WSNA covered position
