Job Description
The Lead Cook will be expected to perform as a health team member committed to the nutritional care of patients. Prepares, seasons, and cooks food for hospital, patients, employees and visitors. Serves in relief capacity of other food service employees in the department.
Qualifications
What is required...
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state-certified food handlers permit
What is preferred...
- Previous food service experience or equivalent education
- Serv-Safe Certification through National Restaurant Association
Additional Information
Wage: Wage range starts at $15.43/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position is eligible to receive additional compensation for working certain hours. Between 3p - 11p = $1.65/hour; 11p - 7a = $2.00/hour; weekends = $3.00/hour.
FTE: Per diem; variable schedule
Union Status: This is a Teamsters covered position
